OSAGE SELFBOW, 69 INCH NTN, 58 LBS
Perhaps the world's most famous bow wood, translated in french it is called 'Bois d'arc ' literally: Bow wood.
Held in high regard and highly sought after Osage Orange, or botanically known as Maclura Pomifera with its characteristic orange bark and bronze glowing heartwood.
In this 69-inch flat limb design bow, we re-enforced the tips and made Horn nock overlays.
We scraped the wood away till we were left with one single growth ring and a very nice primitive look.
Treated with several layers of Varnish it has a nice shine and patina to it.
The bow is supplied with a flemish Fastflight string.
Tillered to 29-inch max draw length.
