OSAGE SELFBOW,ENGLISH LONGBOW 72 INCH NTN, 41 LBS

Perhaps the world's most famous bow wood, translated in French it is called 'Bois d'arc ' literally: Bow wood.

Held in high regard and highly sought after Osage Orange, or botanically known as Maclura Pomifera with its characteristic heartwood orange bark and bronze glowing wood.

In this 72-inch English Longbow design bow, we re-enforced the tips with cow horn nocks.
We scraped the wood away till we were left with one single growth ring and a very nice primitive look with character.

Treated with several layers of Varnish and danish oil it has a nice shine and patina to it.
The bow is supplied with a flemish Dacron string.

Tillered to 32-inch max draw length.
