ROBINIA SELFBOW, 71 INCH NTN, 36 LBS

Perhaps the world's most underrated bow wood is Robinia, also known as Faux Acacia. A very very good bow wood for flatbow designs. 

This wood is botanically known as Robinia pseudoacacia with its characteristic bumps and snakey-ness. This bow is exactly that: very snakey.
On top of that, we glued a set of Rattlesnake skins with a touch of red dye, creating a unique look. 

In this 71-inch flat limb design bow, we re-enforced the tips and made cow horn nock overlays.
We scraped the wood away till we were left with one single growth ring and a very nice primitive look.

Treated with several layers of Varnish it has a nice shine and patina to it.
The bow is supplied with a flemish Fastflight string.

Tillered to 30-inch max draw length.
